D A W N...

Each and every day if my life I sit and ponder....  I think about the many steps that I have taken to be where I am today.  I think about the past and the meaning thereof.  I think of the present and where I am.  I think a lot, analyze or as I like to say just ponder...

Meditation has given me the ability to taking the thoughts and silencing them on the lowest level.  A lot of the pondering turns into a mantra in which I concentrate on which give me focus. As much as I have read and written I always think about the levels of life, of love, of living...

We are born to come in and experience whether it be in a spiritual, soulful or human experience.  We gravitate to our tribe and begin to create who we are....  Then we breathe and move forward to being all that we can be.  But, within that being when do you learn what your purpose and passion is....

How do you know that literally you are working on your own, authentic, original and priceless path of life.  When do you stand behind the podium of life and begin to speak letting your voice be heard.? 

When do you decide that the life that I am living is not the life that burns deep within.  When does the masquerade stop and the movie of your life begin?  When do you acknowledge that yes I am doing ______________ but my desire, passion and purpose is ___________!!!! 

When do we let the voice speak from within?  When do we take a step back and say to the world this is who I am?  

When do we step out on faith?

Obey the words from within?

Live the life we want?

Pursue the journey?

Unwrap the gifts?

Engage the passion?

And be the purpose?

The only reason why I ask is because I ask myself everyday?  Not in an obsessive kind of way but in a spiritual way?  God reveal my steps so that I can walk within the light that you have instilled in me? 

A very dear sister to me Denise Anthony took time to let me speak without interruption and as she listened with compassion she gave me this....

JEREMIAH 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you "Declares The Lord" plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  

These words resonated within and as it says I know and have plans for you.  That in itself speaks very profoundly.  With all that I do and become I believe that it all happens within time.  That we are equipped with a greatness within!  That we are intelligent and creative beings....  It is the revelation of the plans that gives us the hope and drive to trusting and believing that our purpose is viable. That our life is precious and that our legacy is PRICELESS...

No matter where you may be within your mind or the world.  Know that the higher power has plans for you.  For you to be given hope and and your future.  What you may be doing right now  may not be what you are suppose to do...

But within the fire comes the struggle, the breaking free and the rising. 

We are a strong people.  We are a proud people....

THE NONEXISTENCE OF EXISTENCE WITHIN RESISTENCE

As in all things in life we tend to have a massive amount of EXPECTATIONS.  Expectations of ourselves, others, the environment, society and so forth.  Within the balance of life we can see it on a physical level or spirit based derived from our individual perception of spirituality.  

Always within expectation comes positive or negative which stems from how our minds perceive it to be.  Basically stemming from cause and effect,  right or wrong, good or bad!  

From my view as the many blades of grass forms upon this earth there will always be CHANGE. There will always be differences which may or may not taint the very existence that we journey upon each and every day.  

So I begin...

A long walk brought these thoughts to be as I am in the biggest change of my life.  From deep within I felt the sadness that surrounds me covering me like the very first blanket that was placed upon my skin at birth.  Covering me with warmth and a serene aura of bliss...my very own oasis.  

But, why am I searching for that feeling of comfort again...

Many seconds, minutes, hours, days and months have past and within my most trying time is also the most comforting time of my existence. 

As my soul cried out for the Mother of all ~ M O T H E R  E A R T H...

I set out on a quest in one day and began to put all the pieces of life back together again.  

With FAITH I set out with tiny baby steps that tuned into a quick pace and ended in a smooth stride.  

See upon Mother Earth there is no Nonexistence ~ There is only Existence.  

Every piece of nature must show up everyday and night...the sun, clouds, skies, stars, moon the entire Universe. 

A tree cannot take a day off to get it all together or to put things into perspective.   The trees cannot just lay down on the ground because they are tired from standing!  The trees must stand firm and sway to be beat of the wind and the soil that sustains them.  The grass can't just pick up and leave because it gets burned from the heat from the sun.  But, upon the seeds of life it can regenerate itself over and over again and become anew.  

All of the elements of Earth rejects resistance because it must exist and I must exist...

I must stand tall and welcome the beautiful sun that I AM.  

I must speak what I desire, dream, hope and visualize within my life.  

I must not resist the waves of change that comes upon my soul and washes my spirit.  

As nature prevails and thrives each and every day so shall I....

So as I sit upon the bench of life 

I plant my feet upon the EARTH to feel home again.

For I too am from the soil

From the Earth

Within the Universe

SOCIETY SPEAKS

We live in a world that for some reason likes to dictate what and who we are to be.  It is with that very instance of the predetermining aspect that is the confusing factor of life for us all.  There was a time when I was younger that the brain was clear and there weren’t so many options or choices that we had to consume within our daily lives.   It was as they say “Black and White” as if it wasn’t one it was the other. 

The technology age has thrust us into a warp speed of growth.  There is so much before us that we really don’t have time to even grasp the notion of the many things that we see hear, feel and touch on a daily basis. 

With growth comes change and with change comes a new perception of what we feel is reality.  Many times I feel as if I am in a long tunnel that never ends.  I seem to get to what appears to being a light but that fades as I keep walking in search of the flame that burns bright….the star that shines in the night sky or maybe the light bulb of truth.

What separates the dark from the light and the light from the dark is within the eye of the beholder.    As I continue to grow and view the world from open eyes with no color, with onlythe view of humanity I learned to accept people as they are.  

I learned to accept the differences of what society deemed was acceptable and what wasn’t.  I learned that within our society being the same was a concept that was indoctrinated into our psyche from day one.  We are encouraged to be like which allows us to being accepted.  That weall wanted to be alike and if you weren’t like then you were not right.  

With that specific mindset which had been thrust upon my life I was shown in so many ways that every day I was destined to be like someone or something….

I can only imagine where I would be if I had a family structure that didn’t encourage individuality.  From the very beginning my mother let me know that not everyone is going to likeyou Dawn because you are very different.   There was an unspoken, unconditional knowing that she had and she was prepared to get that through to me.  She let me know that being the same is not being who I am.  She encouraged me to find my way and path while walking within the group but to also know that I am unlike the group in many ways.    She taught me not to think that I was better than anyone but that I was unique an Original and that there was no one ever like me.  A very big emphasis within my life even with me being different my mother and grandmother instilled humility.  To be humble no matter how pretty people said you were or how smart you may think you are. You must remain humble for your light to shine bright from within.  

With those words that seeped into my spirit I have always held my head up high, my shoulders back and stood super tall knowing that there is no one like me.  It didn’t make me special…It made me proud to honor who I am and to give thanks to the most high for caring enough of my spirit to creating me to being who I am.   And with that mindset I said that I will always honor the power from above and I will carry myself as…

A Child of the most high

I Am…Dawn

Even when society get louds and screams into your being do not let society dictate who you are or what you are to look or be like.  Do not let it tell you what you can and can’t do.  Do not let it tell you what job you should have, what you should drive, what house to live in or what country to embrace…

And please don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having finer things “whatever that means” opposed to have dignity, passion, love and a drive to be all that you can be for yourself and give back to the world.  

What society doesn’t stress is that success is not all in the material things but knowing thyself.  You never let Society dictate your steps or journey in life.  If you have dreams to being whatever you want and you push yourself to getting there and it makes you happy then you are a SUCCESS! You are LIVING and BREATHING your PURPOSE!  If you truly know what your purpose and passion is and you give it back to the world nothing that society can say or even show you will make you part ways with what you EMBRACE as your TRUTH.  

The many years that I have gone through the “Universal University of Life” I have always held on to…

Anything that I put “I AM” in front of that is what I am to be….

Society creates the same cookie cutter emphasis on our lives but for the ones that step onto the Ledge of Life and leap you have truly found your voice in the world…

BE LOVE ….

Live life in accordance to what YOUR TRUTH is!  Take off the mask that society has put uponyour face and breathe in A New Reality…Your Reality of Truth.  Let your truth be a mirror ofwhat your spirit speaks and let it shine as bright as the sun in the sky.  Let your life shine and let your voice be heard…BE AN ORIGINAL!!!

Would you have given a part of you to save us all?

When you think of how huge of a tasking that is I can't even imagine.  But, what I do know is that there is a power that surrounds us all, that allows us to sleep at night and to rise to see another day until our time expires upon this planet of existence.  As the sun rises and sets as the moon does the same we have a life that has been given to us to making a difference and living our lives in our highest and best good!  It is the trusting of yourself the passion of life and your purpose to give that keeps us focused on this gift of life that I have embraced.  So I will always be thankful and will always embrace faith!

He rises to give us what we are to give others and that is an unconditional LOVE, LIFE and EXISTENCE!

So each and every day when you wake from peace acknowledge the power of ALL!

Embrace the power of STRENGTH

Believe the Power of LOVE

Engage in knowing thyself…

We are living in a time where we are to embrace each and every one and give back for what was given to us and that is LIFE!!!
